I’m Greg and I have over 10 years of teaching experience, have taught music to students kindergarten through college, and have a long background with professional experience in both music education and saxophone performance/pedagogy. My unique background affords me the opportunity to bring a well-rounded perspective to your saxophone instruction. Each student receives personalized instruction based on their individual goals and needs. Whether you are aiming to hone your playing to a professional level, auditioning to major in music in college, or want to improve your playing in band class, there is something unique for you to learn.

My students are hard-working and inquisitive young saxophonists who strive to maximize their potential as well-rounded musicians.

Student Achievements

  • Students consistently earn placement in the ILMEA district and all-state bands, superior ratings at solo & ensemble festivals, and are seated in their school’s top curricular bands.

  • Students have been accepted to perform at the Music for All National Chamber Music Festival, in the ILMEA district and all-state bands, at at various North American Saxophone Alliance conferences.

  • Students have participated in the Interlochen Saxophone Intensive, Southwest Community Summer Band Camp, and Illinois Summer Youth Music Camps.

  • Students are frequently accepted into outstanding collegeiate music programs including the University of Iowa, Illinois State University, and Millikin University.
